Magnolia graduated from the major of Constitutional Law and Administrative Law at Soochow University and was awarded the third session of the Ying Songnian Scholarship, which is the highest academic research award in the field of Chinese administrative law. Prior to engaging in the profession of lawyer, she had six years of experience working in the Administrative Trial Division of a certain provincial high court, where she heard over 300 administrative cases involving significant expropriations, licensing cases, as well as new types of cases such as administrative agreements, financial regulation, government procurement, and administrative guidance. She has extensive experience in handling administrative litigation cases.

Since entering the profession of lawyer in 2017, Magnolia has been hired as a legal advisor for several municipal-level governments and departments in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region. She holds the intermediate lawyer title in Shanghai and has served on multiple significant non-litigation administrative projects as well as multiple complex and difficult commercial and administrative litigation cases.
